Product Details
  • PRO DEVELOPED: The XTRAMAN was developed by GoSports in collaboration with professional baseball and softball coaches to deliver a versatile training aid for pitchers of all abilities
  • IMPROVES ACCURACY AND SAFETY: The lifelike look and size will help pitchers build confidence throwing strikes when someone is at the plate without risking injury to an actual player
  • REVERSIBLE DESIGN: The XTRAMAN is reversible and can be used to simulate right or left handed batters
  • PREMIUM QUALITY: Designed to withstand hits from errant pitches (both baseballs or softballs)

The XTRAMAN Stand-In Batter was developed to deliver the most valuable training aid for pitchers of all abilities. In the past pitching drills have posed safety risks for stand-in batters - making it difficult to replicate real game scenarios, but the XTRAMAN is the newest and only stand-in batter to accurately simulate the size and shape of a real player in the batter's box. Simulating a real batter during pitching drills can greatly benefit players of all abilities and skill levels. Developing a greater sense of command on the mound and learning the boundaries of the strike zone carries over to greater player confidence and performance during the game. No other coaching aid addresses player development and crucial skills like pitching better than the GoSports Xtraman. The XTRAMAN is extremely portable and can be securely staked to the ground using the included steel stakes. This is a must-have for any baseball player, parent or coach.
